Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak visited the production complex of JSC "Electrozavod" to familiarize himself with the plans of the Hydrogen Technology Center of AFK "Sistema" in developing projects in the fields of hydrogen energy and transportation. He also reviewed new models of Russian hydrogen fuel cell-based freight vehicles produced by PJSC "KamAZ."
At the Hydrogen Technology Center, projects are being developed to create hydrogen-powered water and freight transport, drones for transporting commercial cargo, hydrogen catalysts and sensors, electrolyzers, energy storage systems, fuel cells, and more.
The Deputy Prime Minister observed the operation of a new KamAZ truck with a payload capacity of over 20 tons, which can travel 400 kilometers on hydrogen. He also assessed the performance of a domestic energy unit and the hydrogen fuel cell truck platform produced by PJSC "KamAZ." Representatives from AFK "Sistema" and its subsidiaries, as well as PJSC "KamAZ," participated in the event.
