Hydrexia Completes Historical Regional Maritime Shipment of Solid-state Hydrogen System
Industry newsThe maritime demonstration campaign, which began in late September 2025 and lasted several months, covered multiple key Asian seaports. Conducted in partnership with SEDC Energy Sdn Bhd (SEDCE), a subsidiary of the Sarawak Economic Development Corporation in Malaysia, the initiative marked the first sea transport of solid-state hydrogen in the region enabled by MHX technology.
This achievement signals an important step forward for hydrogen logistics, demonstrating the commercial potential of regional maritime hydrogen trade. Transporting hydrogen by sea with MHX reduces the risks typically associated with conventional hydrogen handling, improves safety standards, and lowers operational expenses, positioning the technology as a strategic solution for cross-border hydrogen distribution.
As MHX technology reaches commercial readiness, Hydrexia reaffirms its commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and economically viable solid-state hydrogen transport systems to customers worldwide, contributing to the expansion of green hydrogen infrastructure globally.
