Saudi Arabia Enters Into Clean Hydrogen Deal with China

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the cabinet of Saudi Arabia has approved multiple Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between Saudi Arabia and China. These include collaboration between the tax authorities and a proposed agreement in the field of agriculture between Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture and China.

Furthermore, the Energy Ministry of Saudi Arabia has been given the authority to engage in negotiations for the signing of MoU with Turkey concerning energy matters. This decision aligns with Saudi Arabia's goal to diversify its energy sources and strengthen its relationships with neighboring countries. The cabinet meeting also addressed the recent decision by Saudi Arabia and Iran to re-establish diplomatic relations after a seven-year hiatus. The cabinet expressed its approval of the agreements regarding the reopening of diplomatic missions, emphasizing that their implementation would enhance mutual trust, expand cooperative opportunities, and contribute to the security, stability, and prosperity of the region.
